I am a community partner with Karma Sue, a non-profit organization providing support to families in Colorado seeking resources after a companion animal receives a cancer diagnosis. I provide animal communication, animal EOL transition sessions and animal chaplaincy sessions for Karma Sue families.
I was a professional member of the American Association of Veterinary Chaplains, a pioneering community dedicated to enriching the lives of all who care for and love animals through compassionate, spiritual, and emotional support across the continuum of care. AAVChap members empower veterinary professionals, clients, and animal companions, fostering a holistic approach to animal welfare that embraces the unique emotional and spiritual connections between humans and animals.
I was an affiliate member of the International Association of Animal Hospice and Palliative Care, an organization striving to create a world in which animal hospice and palliative care services are widely available to animals and their caregivers (2024-2025)
I was a photography artist member with HeARTs Speak from 2018-2025. HeARTs Speak is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization that unites art and advocacy to increase the visibility of shelter animals.
I was a member practitioner with the Shelter Animal Reiki Association (SARA) from June 2018 - June 2023.
The goal of SARA is to educate the world about the benefits of Reiki for rescued animals and their caregivers. Shelter Animal Reiki Association practices and teaches the world’s first specialized, extensive and professional curriculum in Animal Reiki. Our practitioners and teachers only use the ethical and effective Let Animals Lead® approach, created by Kathleen Prasad, the world’s renowned Animal Reiki expert. SARA has a worldwide network of members who are effectively using Reiki for the comfort of animals in shelters, sanctuaries and rescue centers.
I volunteered at Denver Animal Protection (DAP) as a photographer and worked one-on-one with dogs on behavior modification and socialization. (2018 -2022).
DAP provides animal care and protection services for Denver county and is committed to providing humane care to companion animals, adopting pets to loving homes and educating the public about animals and their needs.
